Swamp Milkweed, Asclepias incarnata. It grows to 1.5m high. It blooms large clusters of bright pink flowers that are loved by pollinators. It produces upright seedpods that are narrower then common milkweed and smooth in texture. It makes a great addition to any pond shoreline or wet area and is hardy enough for an upland garden if watered during droughts.

Wildlife Benefits: Nectar source, larval host

Uses: Pollinator gardens, wetland plantings, Wet meadow plantings.

Conditions: Sun to part shade, Wet to moist, Deer Resistant
