Canada Wild Rye, Elymus canadensis is native to much of North America. It is a cool season grass and grows up to 1.5m. It produces a bushy nodding spike up to 25cm in length.

Uses: Ornamental Grass, pollinator gardens, prairie/meadow plantings, cover crop, erosion control, pasture

Conditions: Full sun to partial shade, moist-fresh, sand to clay, alkaline to acidic, drought tolerant, deer resistant
