Woodland Sunflower, Helianthus divaricatus, is a native perennial sunflower. It has 6cm wide bright yellow flowers with a dark yellow center disk. It grows up to 1.5m has a smooth stem and short stalked leaves.

Bloom Time: Mid summer to fall.

Wildlife Benefits: Nectar Source, food source, cover

Uses: Pollinator gardens, meadow/prairie plantings, forest edge/road side restoration

Conditions: Sun to Shade, moist to dry, Sandy, drought tolerant, deer resistant
